For twenty years K & K Mercantile has sold its wares under canvas, one faire at a time. This season we open an online store. Every ware photographed, every size listed, paid for in a minute, shipped insured.

Seven things the new store does that the tent never could. Each one below works. Try them.

Type a word and the shelf rearranges. Search reads names, descriptions, and each ware's particulars, so "pewter" finds the hat pin and "lid" finds the pot and the tankard. Pick a category to narrow the shelf further.

Sizes & colors

A great coat comes in four sizes and two cloths. Pick yours and the price follows. When a size sells out, the button says so before you choose it, not after you have paid.

Shopping from Canada or the United Kingdom? Need a dozen tankards for a mess, or a coat cut to your measure? Request an order instead. List the goods and where they are going, and we reply within three business days with a tally and postage. Nothing is charged until you say so.

The calendar lists every faire we know of this year and stars the ones where you will find our tent. Kathy keeps it current herself, so a new date is on the site the same afternoon she hears of it.

Stocked & published

Behind the store is a shopkeeper's office built for Kacey and Kathy. They photograph a ware, write up its particulars, set a price, and press Publish Site. About two minutes later it is on the shelf. No developer in between.
